Spike TV on Thursday made official its broadcast of UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama on Oct. 16.

UFC 120 will take place at the O2 Arena in London and will be headlined by a middleweight bout between “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 3 winner Michael Bisping, a Britain native, and Yoshihiro Akiyama. The Spike broadcast will be aired on a tape-delay basis at 8 p.m. Central. The live broadcast will be available on pay-per-view.

The co-main event of the card features a welterweight match between Dan Hardy, another Brit, and Carlos Condit.

Bisping (20-3) fights out of the acclaimed Wolfslair MMA Academy in Manchester, England. He’s coming off a unanimous decision win over Dan Miller at UFC 114 in May. Akiyama (13-2, 2 NC) won the 2001 Asian Championships and 2002 Asian Games in judo. He ran into a highly motivated Chris Leben at UFC 116 earlier this month, who submitted the judo whiz late in the third round for his second win in two weeks.

Hardy (23-7, 1 NC) is coming off a welterweight title fight unanimous decision loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 111 in March, his first UFC loss. Condit (25-5), fighting out of the renowned Greg Jackson camp in Albuquerque, N.M., beat Rory MacDonald at UFC 115 in June with a late TKO for his second straight UFC win. He is the former WEC welterweight champion.

Also confirmed for the Spike televised card: Brit John Hathaway (14-0) puts his unbeaten record, including 4-0 in the UFC, on the line against veteran Mike Pyle (19-7-1); Wolfslair fighter Cheick Kongo (25-6-1) takes on Travis Browne (10-0) at heavyweight; and Brit James Wilks meets Canadian Claude Patrick to open the broadcast.

Other bouts on the card include Cyrille Diabate (17-6-3) vs. Alexander Gustafson (9-1) and Stanislav Nedkov (11-0) vs. Steve Cantwell (7-3).
